Description
This Sauvignon comes to life from the hilly vineyards that surround the cellar of Villa Russiz, with south, north-east and south-east exposures, planted on marly soil.
The grapes are harvested by hand in the early hours of the morning once they have reached perfect ripeness, and then are softly pressed whole. The must is sent to fermentation at controlled temperature, followed by a pause in steel on the fine lees for at least 8 months.
It has a straw yellow color enlivened by greenish reflections. The sense of smell is played on delicate exotic notes of pineapple and yellow peach, accompanied by small hints of sage. On the palate it is gentle and silky, full-bodied and with a marked drinkability.
It goes well with fish courses and complex dishes based on crustaceans. Excellent to accompany vegetarian cooking or a platter of fresh cheeses.
