Description

The Collio Sauvignon of the Russiz Superiore line by Marco Felluga was born in vineyards located in Capriva del Friuli, in the province of Gorizia. Russiz Superiore is Marco Felluga's cru.

It is produced with 100% Sauvignon grapes, harvested only by hand in the first days of September. After a cold maceration, a small part of the must ferments in oak barrels, the remainder in steel at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 8 months on its lees and in the bottle before being marketed.

It has a straw yellow color with green hues. The nose opens with elegant notes of sage and fresh pepper, accompanied by pleasant hints of grapefruit and acacia flowers. On the palate it is fresh and sapid, with a good softness that accompanies towards a long and balanced finish.

Perfect to accompany fish-based dishes, it is indicated in combination with risotto with herbs and more generally with all first courses.
