Description
Collio Sauvignon di Còrmons is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Cormòns, the capital of Friuli wine.
It is produced exclusively with Sauvignon grapes, harvested during the second ten days of September. After destemming, the grapes are macerated at low temperature for a long time, then the must ferments at controlled temperature in large barrels. Subsequently the wine ages on the lees in large oak barrels for 6-7 months before being bottled.
This Sauvignon has a bright golden yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose opens with a complex bouquet, characterized by aromas of pepper enriched by pleasant hints of ripe peach and elegant notes of nutmeg. On the palate it is full-bodied and pleasantly velvety, with a structured and decisive body.
Perfect to accompany seafood and shellfish, it is ideal in combination with mushroom and white meat dishes.
