Description
The Collio Rosso Tenuta Sant'Helena Venko di Fantinel was born in the Gorizia vineyards of Vencò, in the heart of the DOC Collio.
It is produced with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. After partial drying of the grapes, fermentation takes place, with maceration, at controlled temperature for 20 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 24 months in Allier and Slavonia oak barrels, before being bottled.
The Sant'Helena Venko di Fantinel estate has a deep ruby red color. The nose opens with a large and intense bouquet of berries. On the palate it is powerful and velvety, with soft tannins and a pleasantly balanced finish.
This red wine is ideal for accompanying red meat dishes and game.
