Description
The Ribolla Gialla Tenuta RoncAlto wine was born in the vineyards of the Livon company, located in the DOC Collio, in Friuli.
It is made entirely with Ribolla Gialla grapes, selected and harvested only by hand. After an 8-hour cold maceration and cleaning of the must by decantation, the wine ferments in steel for 8 months. Once the fermentation phase is over, it is left to mature for another 8 months in the same containers, always at a constant temperature. The bottling and a long aging in glass follows.
It offers a very bright straw yellow color. The nose offers a very delicate floral scent, to which are added fruity notes in the background. In the mouth it is fresh, full-bodied and extremely elegant, with an interesting enveloping that also accompanies the finish.
This wine goes well with appetizers, first courses and second courses based on fish, such as cuttlefish ink risotto.
