Description
The Collio Pinot Nero of Villa Russiz is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Capriva del Friuli, in the province of Gorizia.
It is produced entirely with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested exclusively by hand once the ideal ripeness has been reached. Fermentation takes place with maceration in contact with the skins for 15 days, in steel vats at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels and for a further 3 months in glass, before being put on the market.
Villa Russiz's Pinot Noir has a pale ruby red colour. The nose opens with hints of raspberry and not too ripe red fruit. The palate is slender and marked by a good balance between softness and acidity.
To combine with roasts and spicy cuisine, even spicy.
