Summary
Description
The Soluna di Livon comes from vineyards of the DOC Collio, located on land composed of the characteristic "ponca", formed by sandstone marls of Eocene origin.
It consists exclusively of Malvasia grapes, hand-harvested in boxes and left to dry for 10 days under the sun and moon, hence the name. After a short cold maceration, the must ferments in steel at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C. The wine ages in the same containers for about 6 months and for a further period in the bottle before being placed on the market.
It is distinguished by a pale golden yellow color. It opens to the nose with a characteristic and elegant aroma of Malvasia grapes. In the mouth it proves broad and full, decidedly soft.
Excellent as an aperitif, it goes perfectly with grilled fish, shellfish and seafood.
