Description
The Collio Friulano Manditocai di Livon was born in vineyards located in the Ruttars area, in the Municipality of Dolegna del Collio, in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
It is obtained from pure Tocai grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with cold maceration, partly in stainless steel barrels and partly in Hungarian oak barrels. Subsequently the fino ages for 8 months in barrique, before being bottled.
It has a straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose opens with intense perfumes of peach leaves, enriched with elegant spicy notes of nutmeg. On the palate it is soft and delicate, with a bitter almond finish and a slight salinity.
Excellent to accompany typical Italian appetizers, soups, fish and white meat dishes, this white wine is also suitable to be paired with unseasoned soft cheeses.
