Description
The Collio Friulano di Cormòns was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Cormòns, the capital of Friuli wine.
It is produced exclusively with Friulano grapes, harvested towards the end of September. After destemming, the grapes are macerated at a low temperature for a long time, then the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Subsequently the wine ages on the lees in large oak barrels for 7 months.
It is characterized by a golden yellow color, with lemon-colored transperences. The nose opens with hints of peanut butter, enriched with pleasant almond notes. On the palate it is full, pleasantly broad and soft, with an aftertaste of toasted almonds.
Perfect as an aperitif wine and to accompany appetizers, it is ideal in combination with cold cuts and fish dishes.
