Description

The Collio Cabernet Sauvignon Défi de la Tour of Villa Russiz was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Capriva del Friuli, in the province of Gorizia.

It is produced entirely with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested exclusively by hand once they have reached perfect ripeness. Fermentation takes place with maceration in contact with the skins for 20 days in steel at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 35-36 months in French oak barrels and for a further 10 months in the bottle before being marketed.

The Cabernet Sauvignon Graf de la Tour of Villa Russiz has a ruby red color. The nose opens with spicy and herbaceous hints. On the palate it is soft, with well-smooth tannins, of great balance.

Perfect to accompany roasted and stewed meats, game, dishes with truffles.
