Description
The Collio Bianco di Cormòns originates inside the Collio DOC, from a land composed almost entirely of flysch, that is an alternation of marl and sandstone, particularly rich in limestone and microelements that represent the fertile matrix par excellence for hill viticulture .
It comes from a blend of Friulano, Malvasia Istriana and Ribolla Gialla varieties, the harvest of which takes place strictly by hand. The grapes are subjected to a maceration period at low temperature and ferment in steel tanks, then they refine in fine oak barrels.
It is characterized by a bright and clear golden yellow color. On the nose it expresses hints of wild flowers and pineapple, accompanied by a slight spiciness. In the mouth it is dry and silky, rightly tannic and elegant.
Perfect with fish appetizers and fried seafood, it goes well with vegetable soups.
