Description
Mostella is a red wine produced with Vespolina grapes, a native variety that well expresses its identity in the Ghemme area.
With 5 hectares dedicated to this blend and an environmentally friendly production philosophy, the grapes are harvested at the end of September and harvested manually before proceeding with soft pressing, maceration and alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures. The wine is then aged 12 months in steel and 4 months in the bottle.
Bright red to the eye, it expresses notes of jam and light spicy and balsamic hints on the nose that reverberate on the palate in a tannic and peppery taste, very distinct and fresh.
Considering the tannic component, it accompanies lard crostini and goes well with all fatty dishes based on cold cuts and cold meats such as veal with tuna sauce.
