Description
The Colli Trevigiani Incontro Manzoni 2.15 of Conte Collalto is born in vineyards located on the Treviso hills, to the left of the Piave river.
It is produced exclusively with Incrocio Manzoni 2.15 grapes (Glera and Cabernet Sauvignon), harvested in the first two weeks of October. Fermentation takes place for 8 days in steel at a temperature of 28 ° C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months and for another 6 months in the bottle.
Conte Collalto's Cross Manzoni 2.15 is characterized by an intense purplish red color. The nose opens with fruity hints, enriched with hints of blackberry and raspberry. On the palate it is soft, slightly tannic and balanced.
Excellent in combination with light and lightly salted meat preparations, it is an ideal accompaniment to oriental cuisine, fish soups and freshly seasoned raw milk cheeses.
