Description
The Friulano delle Robine is produced by the RoncSoleri company, located in the Friulian Collio and precisely in Prepotto, in the Borgo di Novacuzzo, a stone's throw from Cividale and not far from the border with Slovenia. "RoncSoleri" in Friulian means the "hill of the sun".
The pure Friulano grapes are softly pressed in whole bunches. The must then ferments in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Aging takes place on the fine lees in steel and cement tanks for 6 months.
Deep straw yellow in color, the nose reveals a varied bouquet of aromas of white and yellow flowers, peach as well as notes of fresh almond. The sip is fresh and aromatic, with a fairly persistent finish.
It goes very well with mixed cold cuts, vegetable soups and seafood, such as grilled fish.
