Description
The Colli di Rimini Montepirolo di San Patrignano was born in vineyards located on the Coriano hills, managed exclusively under biodynamic conditions.
It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes. Vinification takes place at controlled temperature with a maceration on the skins for about 3 weeks, with periodic pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques at controlled temperature for 24 months and for a further period in the bottle.
It is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of black currant and marjoram, enriched with elegant licorice aromas. On the palate it is pleasantly round, with an excellent structure and a persistent finish, with pleasant and velvety tannins.
Perfect to accompany meat ragout, roasts and stewed meats, it is ideal in combination with risotto and fresh cheeses.
