Description
Colli Aprutini Marina Cvetic Merlot by Masciarelli is born in vineyards located in the Aquila municipality of Ofena, in the heart of the suggestive hills of Abruzzo.
It is produced exclusively with Merlot grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand at the end of September. After fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature, the wine is aged in barrique for 12 months and for another 24 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.
This Merlot has a concentrated ruby red color, with garnet hues. The nose opens with a complex and ample bouquet of blackberry, bitter cocoa, vanilla and dried flowers. On the palate it is deep and fruity, with a good balance.
Perfect to accompany lamb and grilled white meats, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
