Cognac AOC XO Hennessy

Hennessy's Cognac XO was conceived by its creator Maurice Hennessy in 1870 for his closest friends and was the first cognac to be classified as Extra Old due to its extensive aging process. It comes from a blend of over 100 spirits aged for at least 12 years in oak barrels.

Deep and intense amber color, this cognac opens to the nose with aromas of candied fruit and a complex spiciness in which wild cocoa and black pepper predominate. In the mouth it is large and warm, well defined, with a robust character and a finish of beautiful persistence.

Excellent to serve lysic with a few drops of water or on ice, it can become part of refined cocktails such as Bentley Sidecar.
