Description
Nikka's Coffey Malt Whiskey is a distilled malt whiskey with column still, or Coffey, used in the Miyagikyo distillery located on the island of Honshu, Japan. This product has innovative features as this type of alembic is generally used for the production of wheat whiskey, consequently making a very particular, complex and tasty whiskey. It was recognized as "The Japanese Whiskey of the Year" by the 2018 Whiskey Bible guide by well-known writer and journalist Jim Murray.
It is an intense amber colored whiskey. The nose expresses hints of cinnamon and cloves, enriched with notes of lemon, oak and dehydrated fruit. In the mouth it is pleasantly sweet, rich and full-bodied, slightly smoked.
Perfect ingredient of delicious cocktails, it is ideal to serve smooth at the end of a meal.
