Description
This Grand Cru red wine from Domaine Jacques Prieur was born in the 1.28 hectare vineyard, within the Clos Vougeot appellation.
It is made entirely of Pinot Noir grapes, which are first destemmed. This is followed by fermentation lasting 20 days at a controlled temperature in open wooden vats. The refinement takes place in oak barrels and lasts 20 months.
Ruby red in color with violet hues, it expresses itself on the nose with aromas of rose, berries and spices such as pepper and nutmeg. The sip is juicy, with fine tannins and excellent persistence.
To pair with roast meats and mature cheeses.
