Description

The Clos de Vougeot is a Grand Cru vineyard bordered by small walls that dominates the municipality of Vougeot, located within the borders of the wider Nuits-Saint-Georges, in Burgundy. The Pinot Noir grapes from which they are harvested from plants with very low yields that guarantee a high aromatic concentration. It rises in oak barrels for over 12 months.

It dresses in the glass of a beautiful intense ruby red. The bouquet is reminiscent of berries, tobacco and tea leaves. In the mouth it is structured and elegant at the same time, of great finesse.

It is excellent in the company of stewed meats and game. It excels in the combination with aged cheeses.
