Cirò Rosso Classico DOC 2022 Scala

Cirò Rosso Classico represents the flagship wine of the Luigi Scala winery, a historical reality devoted to the enhancement of Calabrian indigenous vines and the production of wines that stand out for their elegance and organoleptic balance.

Gaglioppo in purity, the vinification takes place in red with maceration on the skins. At the end of the fermentation it matures for 10–12 months in masonry vinari.

Ruby red in colour, it offers an intense and fragrant strawberry scent accompanied by delicate mineral tones. In the mouth, it shows a typical taste typical of wines made from Gaglioppo grapes, harmonious and balanced.

It goes well with pasta dishes seasoned with meat or vegetable ragout, but also roasts and game recipes.
