Description
The Cilento Aglianico Cupersito of Casebianche arises from the rows cultivated in organic and biodynamic conditions of the Acquasanta Vineyard, located within the municipality of Torchiara, in the province of Salerno.
It is made from only Aglianico grapes, which are harvested by hand with great care once they are fully ripe. The must ferments for 15 days in steel, with maceration on the skins. 12 months aging in tonneaux and oak barrels follows, with final passage in bottle for another 6 months.
The Cupersito di Casebianche has a bright ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose turns out to be intriguing and fruity, with notes of plum and black currant that are finely combined with spicy hints reminiscent of nutmeg and cloves. In the mouth it reveals juicy and elegant, with soft tannins and a pleasantly long and fresh finish.
Perfect to serve with structured dishes with an intense flavor, it is ideal in the company of stews and roast pork.
