Description
The Chianti Superiore Ripaltella of Villa a Sesta was born in vineyards located in Bucine, in the Province of Arezzo.
It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes. After vinification, the wine undergoes a long aging in barrels, where it stays for about 18 months before being bottled and refined for a further 9 months in the bottle.
Ripaltella is a ruby red wine with purple reflections. The bouquet presents the freshness of red fruits, with notes of raspberry and violet, enriched by hints of spices and aromas of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it is full and soft, but still vibrant and supported by good acidity and tannic freshness.
Due to its characteristics, it is a wine suitable for all occasions, particularly suitable to accompany cold cuts and young cold cuts, first courses with tomato-based sauces and pizza. Also excellent with fish.
