Description

The Chianti Rùfina Collection of the Colognole Agricultural Company was born in the small DOCG area located in the province of Florence in the Vigneto Le Rimesse vineyard, at 350 meters above sea level.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, which are macerated for 21 days in 50 hl steel containers at a temperature of about 27 ° C with frequent punching down and / or pumping over. Subsequently the malolactic fermentation takes place, followed by the aging of 18 months in a 25 hl Slavonian oak barrel. Refining for 6 months in the bottle follows.

Ruby red in color, it has pleasant hints of violet and red fruit on the nose, enriched by well-harmonized notes of wood, deriving from the passage in cask. On the palate it reveals a full taste, with a good structure.

It is ideally paired with first courses based on meat sauce, or to accompany grilled or grilled meats.
