Description
The Chianti Rùfina Riserva Nipozzano Vecchie Viti Private Collection of Frescobaldi was born from the oldest vines of the Castello di Nipozzano estate, in the province of Florence.
It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Malvasia Nera, Colorino and Canaiolo grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with maceration in contact with the skins for 20 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 24 months in oak barrels and for 3 months in bottle, before being released onto the market.
The Nipozzano Vecchie Viti Private Collection by Frescobaldi presents an intense ruby red color. The nose expresses aromas of apricot and dog rose flowers, enriched with elegant hints of vanilla. On the palate it is fresh and complex, with well integrated tannins and a finish characterized by pleasant fruity and spicy notes.
This red wine is the ideal accompaniment to game, from the more delicate one such as quail, partridges and woodcock, to the more elaborate one such as deer and deer.
