Description

The Chianti Government at the Tuscan use of the Melini farms was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Radda in Chianti, in the province of Siena. The Government of Tuscan use is a methodology that distinguished the wines of the Chianti area in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes and with grapes of other vines, harvested only by hand. After the harvest, the grapes are left to dry in the fruit cellar for about 3 weeks, with the aim of giving the wine rich sugary residues. Subsequently the wine referments at controlled temperature, to obtain a rich and structured wine with a unique and inviting character.

It is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with an enveloping and complex bouquet, with hints of morello cherry and raspberry, enriched with pleasant floral aromas of iris and violets. On the palate it is pleasantly full and soft, with a fruity, sapid and harmonious body.

Perfect to accompany appetizers, aged cheeses and cold cuts, it is ideal in combination with first courses, vegetables and red meats.
