On the nose, notes of ripe strawberries, candied black cherries and currants are enhanced in the glass. In the secondary profile, aromatic herbs such as peppermint and sage, juniper berries and black peppercorns. On the palate, soft tannins and a medium-long persistence finish with a slightly bitter finish. Drink now.

Description

This Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva is a label that comes from the selection of the best Sangiovese grapes from the vineyards owned by the Malenchini company, located in the heart of Antella, in the province of Florence, on clayey-clay soils located at a altitude of 200-300 meters above sea level.

After harvesting, the grapes are pressed and then fermented in steel containers at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C, macerating in contact with their skins for 10 days. The following maturation takes place over a period of 2 years, of which at least 6 months in Slavonian oak barrels.

In the glass it takes on an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, spicy sensations of chocolate, leather and tobacco stand out on a fruity background. On the palate it is savory and balanced, with a good structure.

Excellent to combine with stewed meats or game-based dishes typical of the Tuscan gastronomic tradition.
