Description
The Chianti Classico Riserva Carpineto comes from hilly vineyards located in the halo of Gaville, in the province of Florence, near the Arno river, from red grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Canaiolo and other complementary vines.
It is produced with medium-term maceration on the skins and fermentation at a constant temperature. The wine ages in Slavonian oak and French oak barrels for over 12 months, to conclude maturation in steel, enamelled concrete and finally in bottle under controlled conditions.
It announces itself with an intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections. Wide and elegant on the nose, it offers enveloping sensations of vanilla and raspberry. The taste is full and warm, velvety and persistent.
Excellent in the company of game and large roasts.
