Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva di Banfi was born in the municipality of Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of this unique area with a centenary tradition.

It is produced with Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine is aged in barrique for 2 years and for a further 6 months in the bottle.

It is characterized by a mauve red color. The nose opens with an intense spicy bouquet, with hints of vanilla, licorice and chocolate. On the palate it is round, pleasantly spicy, elegant and well structured.

Perfect to accompany meat dishes, it is ideal in combination with typical Tuscan cuisine.
