Description

The Zac wine is a Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Organic produced by the Principe Corsini company in the San Casciano area in Val di Pesa.

The grapes to be fermented in steel tanks are obtained from vines of advanced age and located at an average altitude of 270 meters above sea level. Fermentation lasts 16 days at a temperature of 28 °C. This is followed by a maturation phase in used barriques for 18 months and a further ageing in bottle for at least 12 months.

Of a beautiful purple red with some transparency, it has notes of black cherries, orange, iris on the nose. On the palate, the attack is precise with very polite tannins and returns of red fruits and spicy notes that recall tobacco and pepper. Fresh and enveloping, it remains of great concentration and long persistence on the palate.

Ideal with roasts and stewed meats, ravioli with porcini mushrooms and wild boar sauces.
