Description

The Chianti Classico Duelame is produced by the Lamole di Lamole winery, located in Greve in Chianti. The vineyards are located one at 420 m, the other at 655 m above sea level, perched on soil rich in mineral substances. It is made up of Sangiovese grapes which are destemmed and pressed, and then sent to fermentation in steel vats. This is followed by a period of refinement in oak barrels which ends with further refinement in the bottle.

In the glass the wine appears bright ruby red in color. The nose reveals aromas of violet and iris, redcurrants and raspberry with notes of aromatic herbs. The sip is fresh, generous and with a persistent finish. Ideal as an accompaniment to typical dishes of Tuscan summer cuisine such as tomato soup or testaroli with pesto.
