Description

Sangiovese in purity produced with the grapes of the Tenuta di Nozzole in the Municipality of Greve in Chianti, Folonari Tenuta di Nozzole Chianti Classico is well suited to represent alone one of the historically best known farms of the Chianti Classico.

First harvest in 1971, it vinifies with maceration on its skins at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C, while it ages for 10-12 months in toasted French oak barrels, and then ages for at least 3 months in bottle.

It offers the sight of a beautiful ruby red color and pervades the nose with its generous aromas of ripe fruit and cherry in alcohol. The sip is broad, full and decisive, with a persistent and balanced finish and soft and silky tannins.

It is the perfect wine to combine with a Chianina breed Florentine succulent with a side dish of zolfini white beans, in pinzimonio with extra virgin olive oil.
