Description
The Chianti Classico di Carobbio is born in vineyards located in Panzano in Chianti (Florence).
It is made exclusively of Sangiovese grapes, which are fermented for 10 days in thermoregulated steel tanks. This is followed by an 18-day maceration and, after drawing off, aging in French oak barriques for 18 months. The refinement ends with 6 months in the bottle.
Ruby red in color, it reveals aromas of ripe red fruits, spices and chocolate to the nose. The sip is dry and full-bodied, with soft tannins and a persistent finish.
It pairs well with game, grilled red meat and mature cheeses.
