Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva di Famiglia is a highly prestigious red wine, produced in the renowned area of Castellina in Chianti by the Cecchi winery. Obtained from a blend composed of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. The soil is characterized by a medium clayey and silty mixture enriched by calcareous pebbles typical of Tuscan Galestro.

The winemaking process involves aging for 12 months in barriques and tonneaux, followed by at least 8 months of refinement in the bottle, to further develop complexity and finesse.

At sight this wine has an intense ruby red color. Notes of ripe red fruit emerge on the nose, accompanied by delicate hints of lavender and toasted nuances. On the palate this Chianti offers a balanced entry, with a subtle structure. Vibrant tannins lead to a savory and fresh finish.

This wine pairs perfectly with red meat dishes or mature cheeses.
