Description
The Chianti Classico Querciabella of the homonymous company is born in vineyards located in the Greve in Chianti area.
It is made mainly with Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, selected and harvested by hand at the end of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with a maceration of 12 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques and tonneaux for 12 months before being bottled.
Querciabella is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose has hints of berries and cherries. On the palate it offers a concentrated flavor of cherries with a hint of star anise.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and cheeses.
