Description

The Chianti Classico Querciabella of the homonymous company was born in vineyards located in the areas of Greve in Chianti.

It is mainly made with Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, selected and harvested manually in late September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with a 12-day maceration. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques and tonneaux before being bottled.

The Querciabella is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose has hints of berries and cherries. On the palate it offers a concentrated flavor of cherries with a hint of star anise.

Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and cheeses.
