Description

The organic Chianti Classico Petrignano di Dievole is born in vineyards planted on soils rich in stones, characterized by the outcrops of limestone rocks typical of the geological formation of Monte Morello.

The wine is produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes. The vinification is characterized by a fermentation that takes place for 14-15 days in raw cement vats, at a controlled temperature of 26-28 °C. After the malolactic fermentation, the product ages for about 18 months in non-toasted French oak barrels for approx. 13 months, followed by further refinement in the bottle for at least 3 months.

It has an intense ruby red color. On the nose, evident aromas of ripe red fruit, blackberry and cherry unfold. On the palate it is structured, warm, with smooth tannins.

A wine with a long life expectancy, this organic Chianti Classico is perfect to accompany game and grilled meat, and aged cheeses.
