Description
The Chianti Classico Riserva Marchese Antinori comes from a selection of grapes from the same estate where the famous Tignanello di Antinori originates.
It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. After a soft pressing of the grapes, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for a week, followed by a further maceration of 9-10 days. After the malolactic fermentation, carried out in French oak barriques, the wine ages for about 24 months in French and Hungarian oak barriques, and for a further 12 months in bottle, before being placed on the market.
The Chianti Classico Riserva Marchese Antinori has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a bouquet that recalls fruity and floral sensations that blend well with spicy and toasted notes. On the palate it is soft and balanced, with a pleasantly aromatic and persistent finish.
This red wine is perfect to accompany roasts and grilled red meats, game and aged cheeses.
