Description
The red wine La Porta di Vertine by Bertinga was born in vineyards located at the gates of the small medieval village of Vertine, in the Chianti Classico area.
Once harvested, the 100% Sangiovese grapes are vinified in glass and concrete vats. The wine then ages in concrete for approx. 16 months, followed by 12 months in the bottle.
Brilliant ruby red in colour, the nose is expressed with aromas of violets and red fruit, enriched with mineral notes. The sip is fresh and sapid, with well integrated tannins.
It goes very well with baked pasta, first courses with meat sauces and roasted red meats.
