Description

The Chianti Classico from Cantina Rocca delle Macìe is born in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, located in Tuscany.

It is predominantly produced with Sangiovese grapes and Merlot grapes, which are carefully harvested and selected by hand. After fermentation, which takes place at controlled temperatures, the wine initially ages in Slavonian barrels for a period ranging from 6 to 10 months, and for at least an additional 30 days in the bottle.

This Chianti Classico is characterized by a vibrant ruby red color. On the nose, it opens with an intense bouquet of red fruits, enriched by spicy notes with subtle wood aromas. On the palate, it is pleasantly structured and warm, with a persistent aromatic finish.

Ideal when paired with first courses featuring flavorful meat sauces, it is perfect when matched with recipes of noble poultry and grilled red meats.
