Description
Chianti Classico Carpineto is made in the area between Florence and Siena with Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes.
After harvesting, the must macerates in contact with the skins and ferments at a controlled temperature. After fermentation, the wine rests for a short period in oak barrels before being transferred to steel and concrete containers to complete the ageing before bottling.
Ruby red in colour tending to garnet with the passage of time, it has an intense vinous aroma that recalls violet, red and black fruits, with slight balsamic and citrus hints. On the palate it is velvety and round, with good acidity and flavour before a medium-long finish.
Perfect to accompany mixed grills, game and tasty first courses based on meat sauce.
