Free and dynamic, the main profile gives emotions in the composed and vibrant floral alternation of magnolia, elder, lime, white geraniums and hydrangeas. Pomegranate and tangerine juice dominate the secondary scene. Medium body, round tannins without edges and a luminous finish of remarkable drinkability. To drink now.

Description

The Chianti Classico of Borgo Salcetino is born in the splendid vineyards of the company, located in Radda in Chianti.

This wine is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes, harvested entirely by hand in boxes. After a 21-day maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature, the must passes into wooden barrels, where it matures for 12 months. Ageing in bottle follows.

Chianti Classico from Borgo Sacentino has a ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The nose is intense, with fruity notes of raspberries and cherries that dominate the scene. In the mouth it shows a good structure, with the fruity aromas perceived on the nose that recur in the persistent finish.

It goes very well with well-aged cheeses and typical cold cuts such as finocchiona. Also excellent with grilled meats.
