Description

The Chianti Classico Berardenga di Fèlsina was born in vineyards located in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the heart of the historic DOCG Chianti Classico.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected by hand within the first 3 weeks of October. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months and for another 3 months in bottle, before being released on the market.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with elegant and delicate hints of undergrowth fruits, enriched with spicy notes of liqurizia, cinchona and graphite. On the palate it is fruity and rightly tannic, with a pleasant and persistent aftertaste.

This Chianti Classico is perfect to accompany traditional Tuscan dishes.
