Description
The Chianti Classico Casalino di Bonacchi is produced on the Sienese hills. The vineyards surrounding the farm grow on land made up of alberese and marl. The logo on the label, representing oak leaves, is a tribute to the artist Jacopo della Quercia, who lived in the 1400s and was born in the nearby town of Quercegrossa.
Composed almost entirely of Sangiovese grapes, the grapes are vinified in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, where the wine spends a period of refinement before bottling.
In the glass the wine has a lively ruby red colour. The nose reveals aromas of violets, red fruit, in addition to delicate balsamic notes. The sip is balanced and pleasant in its simplicity.
Chianti from Fattoria Casalino is ideal in combination with pasta with meat sauce and grilled meats.
