Description
The Pure Clairette from Domaine Usseglio Raymond & Fils is produced with 100% Clairette, divided into Clairette Rose and Clairette Blanche, coming from selected plots in the Bois Sénéchaux terroir, characterized by fine sandy soils from the Miocene era.
Fermentation takes place in small wooden barrels of 17 hectoliters and new demi-muids barriques of 5 hectoliters, followed by aging for 6 months in the same containers.
The wine has a delicate nose with nuances of fresh fruit and orange blossom. The palate is elegant, fresh and complex, with stone fruit flavors and a subtle floral touch, and a long saline and iodine finish.
Ideal to accompany baked fish or seafood dishes.
