Description
Les Apôtres from Domaine Usseglio Raymond & Fils is produced with a blend of the 13 families of grape varieties (black and white) authorized by the AOP Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The grapes come from sandy soils or galets roulés.
The winemaking involves manual destemming of the grapes and co-fermentation in Italian artisanal amphorae for 3 months, followed by aging for 17 months in the same amphorae.
The wine has aromas of black fruits, strawberries and roses. On the palate it is deep and complex, with a delicate and silky texture, and an elegant and refined finish.
It pairs perfectly with roast meat dishes or tasty stews.
