Description

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc by E. Guigal is a white wine from the southern Rhône region. This precise and generous wine stands out for its notes of white flowers and light-fleshed fruit, accompanied by a pleasant freshness. The careful selection of the grapes and the meticulous assembly guarantee the excellence and consistency that characterize the wines of this renowned denomination.

The grapes used for this wine include Grenache Blanc (45%), Roussanne (25%), Clairette (15%), Bourboulenc (10%), Folle Blanche (3%) and Picardan (2%). The winemaking takes place using traditional methods and temperature control in thermoregulated cuves around 18°C. The refinement lasts 8 months, of which a quarter of the wine is aged in wood, with 50% in new barrels.

At sight, Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc presents a pale and brilliant golden yellow color. On the nose, it offers an expressive bouquet of white flowers and light fruit. On the palate, it displays a creamy texture balanced by a fresh liveliness, resulting in a rich, broad and elegant wine.

This wine pairs perfectly with salt-crusted fish, grilled fish, tartare, sashimi and fresh or mature goat cheeses.
