Description
Cellier des Princes' Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc comes from a blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussane and Clairette, and is produced in less than 5000 bottles per year in the Rhône Valley. This white comes from vineyards that grow in clay and silica soils, covered with rounded pebbles, a terroir that contributes to the characteristics of the wine.
Following the harvest, the grapes are subjected to a careful destemming process, then a 6-hour maceration and soft pressing. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, while aging takes place in oak barriques for 6 months.
It has a light and brilliant golden yellow color. Vinification at low temperatures allows for subtle and delicate aromas, with notes of beeswax, stone fruit such as peach or plum, and white flowers such as acacia or hawthorn. In the mouth, the perfect balance between alcohol and acidity gives the wine an extraordinary elegance.
This wine pairs beautifully with seafood, fish, white meats and goat's cheeses, offering a delicate and highly pleasurable tasting experience.
