Description

It is known as one of the best white wine areas in Burgundy, that of Chassagne-Montrachet.

This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, harvested from vines with an average age of around 30 years, planted on soils rich in limestone and clay. It undergoes both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels and is then aged in oak barrels for a period of 10-12 months.

Intense yellow, almost golden. On the nose, it captivates with fragrant notes of melon, yellow peach and brioche, while on the palate it asserts itself with a persuasive, round body, refined by the perception of a taut, straightforward freshness. The buttery notes linger in the memory.

Perfect with a plate of goat's cheese platter or, why not, a pork loin in the oven.
