Description
Sérafin's Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is produced with grapes harvested from vineyards with an average age of 75 years, located in the 2 plots of Charmes and Mazoyeres, in the heart of the renowned Côte de Nuits, in Burgundy.
In the vineyard concentrated grapes are obtained, cultivated according to the principles of organic viticulture. The late harvest of the bunches allows the grapes to be enriched with that heritage of tannins and acidity that allow them to face a long period of aging in oak and up to 10 years of longevity in the bottle. Maturation takes place entirely in new oak barrels.
Dark ruby red in color, it offers a rich bouquet of red fruit that evokes notes of black cherry, raspberry and pomegranate with smoked and mineral closures. In the mouth it is dense and elegant, with references to oak and licorice.
Excellent to combine with all game and red meat preparations.
